Love Motel

These rooms are sold by the hour as well as nightly. They are cheap alternatives to hotels. There are interesting vending machines inside your rooms as well as out in the lobby. You could say that they sell accessories. Korea is a very conservative nation. Everything is done behind closed doors. Most people live with their parents or grandparents so "alone" time is spent outside the home in these LOVE motels. We stayed here while in Busan because it was cheap and next to the beach. These are really good accommodations while travelling.

Old fashion American breakfast

This was a rarity. Something we miss. So yummy.

Ethnic Cafe

This is my favorite bar in Gwangju. It is very exotic. This bar is in a basement but it is far from a basement feel. When you walk inside one of the first things you see is a waterfall and little river. The walls are draped in silk. You sit in cozy nooks on the floor. The cushions under your butt are really comfy. It is a very relaxed bar. It is a place to go for some really go fruit soju and intimate conversation. The fruit soju here is the best that I have had thus far.
FYI: Fruit soju is pureed fruit, ice, and soju. Soju is a rice liquor.

Karaoke Fever

Koreans love Karaoke. Their karaoke rooms are very modern, comfortable and clean. We really enjoy going. The drinks are tasty, the food is nice and the songs keep rolling through the night.

Korea vs Greece

We went to Busan to watch the soccer game. We watched it on the beach with thousands of Koreans. Everyone is wearing the red Korea shirts and flashing devil horns.
