A nice lunch just like home

We went to Busan with our friends for the weekend and had a very nice time. We ate a lot of food that made me feel like I was at home. I had a rare beef sandwich and after months of eating Korean food, it was a nice treat. And, of course we had some Hite (Korean Beer). The beauty of Korea is that you can drink anywhere. We are sitting on the patio of this sandwich shop and we bought our beers from the convenient store next door.

Kalbi-Short Ribs

This our favorite food to eat. These are yummy short ribs. Koreans do a lot of BBQ. You take the BBQ meat and wrap it in a lettuce leaf. You can add different sauces and pastes to the wrap as well. So GOOD!

Rhythm Recap

This is a really fun ice breaker as well.
The first student starts by saying a word and an action that goes with it. The next person must repeat all the previous words and actions and they must make up their own as well. And it continues all the way around the circle.

Snow ball fight

This is a great ice breaker game. Each student writes their name and 3 funny things on a blank paper. They crumple it up into a snowball. Next, the fun begins. The class is divided into two teams and when I say go, they throw their snowballs at each other.

When I say STOP, they grab a snowball from the ground, open it up and find its owner.

Everyone shares their findings.

beach ball buzz

This is a video of my kids playing a fun ice breaker.
The ball has many questions on it. When you catch the ball you must answer the question under your left thumb.
