Korean Wedding

I was invited to a Korean wedding. They are rather similar to western weddings minus a few fun things...
  1. There is no party after. No dancing. No drinking until 2am.
  2. There are many buildings around the city where you get married and it is like an assembly line of couples. There must be a dozen weddings each day on the weekend.
  3. You have dinner after the ceremony but no speeches, no nothing but eating from a buffet. Then go home.
  4. The food was really tasty though. A mix of Korean favorites and Chinese favorites.
  5. The bride sits in a room and all the guests come to visit her and take a picture with her, and then the next person. A little assembly line-ish again.
  6. There is no money box just two dudes who sit at a desk and take cold hard cash. No card, just cash.
  7. I had a great time though. I was the only westerner there. I was a celebrity. The photographer was taking many photos of me.

She sits in this room until all the guests take a picture with her.

The room was covered in lillies and it smelled like heaven. Lillies are really cheap here. It smelled so amazing. I have never been overwhelmed, in a good way, by the smell of flowers.
